![Because East Asian women are *not* here to be subjugated and subjected to racist, misogynist sexual tropes and stereotypes…
Reblogging bc this defeats my blog name. But also to reassure that im not stereotyping. I simply just, love asians. And I treat them equal as well as any individual I come across.
I find it interesting (and suspect) that you felt compelled to re-blog my post to “defeat” your tumblr’s name. It’s almost as if you feel some since of guilt or are trying to reassure yourself that you aren’t being exploitative or fetishistic with the title you’ve chosen for your blog, and are using my post to somehow soothe your ego and privilege.
You espousing the fact that you treat Asians “equal as well as any individual [you] come across” is similar to someone who makes an ignorant or racially insensitive comment about a person or woman of color, and then will try to rationalize it by commenting, “I have (insert ethnicity) friends/have slept with/have an affinity for (insert ethnic makeup) women/men, so I’m not being racially insensitive.”
I’m not an Asian woman, but *am* a woman of color, so I’m just opining and noting the fact that you’ve used my post/image of an East Asian woman challenging sexual stereotypes about the women in her community, to allay whatever doubts/perpetuation of racial tropes you may’ve experienced/perpetuated. Just saying. The title of your tumblr is “love asians long time”… I can’t help but equate that with the sexual stereotype associated with Asian women, but like I said… I’m not an Asian woman, but *am* speaking as a woman of color who has to fend off sexual stereotypes associated with women in my community.](http://25.media.tumblr.com/7b8f0ad8215a9274a749881b2581bba8/tumblr_mfecyntYA91qmdsnao1_400.jpg)
